The History of Minnehulla Church
In the year 1870, the Minnewee church was established by disciples under the leadership of Rev. Mitchell Harrison of Dewitt County. In July 1871, the Minnewee church sent two delegates to the Palestine Baptist church in Victoria, Texas to help organize the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Association.
The Minnehulla church planted five new churches and supported seven small existing churches during Pastor Edwards’ leadership. Minnehulla has remained a strong missionary sending agency. The church has not only sent missionaries across the states but in South America, Spain, Africa, England, Germany, Italy, Bahamas and Canada.
